Maa Kaalratri 7th Form Of Goddess Durga
The 7th avatar of Maa Durga is Maa Kalratri. On the Saptami tithi, she is worshipped enormously all over the eastern and north-eastern states. The devotees who are involved in Tantra Mantra Sadhana also worship her more. Her name Kaalratri symbolizes the night of time i.e. Kaal means death.
According to the texts, Maa Parvati sacrificed her outer golden skin in austerity and converted her into her darkest skin to kill demons. Kalaratri is the violent and the fiercest form of Goddess Parvati. Although she looks very fierce to her devotees, she always brings calmness courage and happiness.
She has four hands carries a sword, a deadly iron hook, and the other two keep in abhay and varad mudras to give blessings. She has a third eye on her forehead that is known to hold the entire universe. Her ride is Donkey. She also wears demons sliced head garland on her neck.

Significance:
